Best Golf Courses in Henderson, Nevada: Reflection Bay, Serket & More

Las Vegas's largest suburb holds six courses worth knowing — including two championship tracks and honest public-access layouts

Henderson is Las Vegas's largest suburb and holds more than a third of the valley's golf inventory. Most courses are 20–30 minutes from the Strip, making Henderson accessible for a morning round without the long haul to Mesquite. The range is significant: Reflection Bay is one of the most scenic lakeside layouts in the Southwest; Serket (the former Rio Secco) is a Rees Jones canyon design once home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf; and the public-access courses — WildHorse, Revere, Legacy — are the honest mid-tier options that fill out most itineraries.

1. Reflection Bay Golf Club

Reflection Bay is the Jack Nicklaus design on the shore of Lake Las Vegas, about 23 miles from the Strip via Lake Mead Pkwy. The course wraps around the reservoir, with multiple holes running directly alongside the water and views of the McCullough Mountains rising behind. It's the most photographable round in Henderson and competes on visuals with any course in the valley.

Publicly bookable — no resort stay or casino host required. Green fees run roughly $100–175 in shoulder season, with summer rates dropping substantially. A genuine destination round that most visitors overlook because it's less famous than TPC Summerlin or Bali Hai.

2. Serket Golf Club

Serket — rebranded from Rio Secco in late 2024 — is a Rees Jones championship layout in Seven Hills, Henderson, routed through natural canyon terrain. It was historically the home of the Butch Harmon School of Golf. At over 7,000 yards from the back tees, it's one of the more demanding public tracks in Nevada.

Bookable on a public tee sheet, about 20 minutes from the Strip — a stronger championship test than most visitors realize, partly because the Rio Secco name never reached the public profile of TPC Summerlin or Bali Hai. The rebrand to Serket has given it a fresh identity worth reconsidering.

3. Revere Golf Club

Revere Golf Club operates two 18-hole layouts — Concord and Lexington — on a site straddling the Henderson and Boulder City border. Concord is the stronger of the two: a traditional design through natural desert terrain with good elevation changes and valley views. Lexington plays flatter and faster. Both are publicly bookable.

The 36-hole format is useful for groups where some players want a full day and others want to stop at 18, or for a return trip that plays differently than the first round.

4. The Legacy Golf Club

The Legacy Golf Club is Henderson's established public-access name — an Arthur Hills design that hosted the Las Vegas Senior Classic for several years. The layout moves through a Henderson residential development and delivers a conventional desert-resort track in good condition. The reliable mid-range option for visitors who want an established course without driving to Boulder City.

5. WildHorse Golf Club

WildHorse Golf Club is a public municipal layout in Henderson that consistently over-delivers for its price. A Gary Koch design with enough variety to hold interest across multiple rounds, at one of the better value rate points in the greater Las Vegas area. The right call when the championship courses are full or priced above the day's budget.

How to use Henderson on a trip

The most natural Henderson itinerary: early round at Reflection Bay (scenic, bookable, worth the Lake Las Vegas drive), followed by an afternoon in Henderson's restaurant corridor before returning to the Strip. For a 36-hole day in cooler months, Serket and Revere are close enough to each other that back-to-back rounds are realistic.

Henderson also pairs naturally with Boulder City — the two areas are adjacent, and a Cascata round in Boulder City combines well with a Reflection Bay or Serket round in Henderson as part of a two-night base camp in the southeast valley.
