About Reflection Bay Golf Club
Reflection Bay is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design built through the desert along Lake Las Vegas. The 7,261-yard par-72 layout (74.3 rating / 138 slope) routes five holes along 1.5 miles of shoreline, with water features, strategic bunkering, and dramatic elevation change.
History
Reflection Bay Golf Club — History
Reflection Bay Golf Club opened in 1998 as the first public-resort course in Nevada personally designed by Jack Nicklaus. Set on the shore of Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, it hosted the televised Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge from 1998 to 2007, drawing champions from the PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tours. The course was re-grassed during a 2023 renovation.
Design
Reflection Bay Golf Club — Design
Nicklaus used the lake as the course's anchor — shoreline holes, water in play, and elevation change framing long views across Lake Las Vegas.
The Round
Reflection Bay Golf Club — Strategic Layout
The five shoreline holes are the signature stretch; water and bunkering reward committed, well-shaped shots, and the 7,261-yard length makes correct tee selection important.
