The Course

About The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course

The Revere Golf Club is a 36-hole public facility in the Anthem area of Henderson, built into the high desert with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding mountains. Its two courses — the Lexington and the Concord — were designed by Billy Casper, the Hall-of-Fame major winner, and architect Greg Nash. The Lexington is the headliner: a dramatic, elevation-rich routing that climbs and falls across the desert ridgeline, with the Strip skyline as a backdrop on several holes. The Concord plays more forgiving, with wider fairways and generous landing areas — a course you can actually score on. Together they make The Revere one of Henderson's most popular public golf destinations.

History

The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course — History

The Revere opened in 1999, part of the wave of upscale daily-fee golf that defined Las Vegas Valley development around the turn of the century. The Lexington came first as the marquee layout, with the Concord added as its more playable companion. The two courses have anchored public golf in the Anthem area of Henderson ever since.

Design

The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course — Design

Casper and Nash routed the Lexington to use the natural elevation of the Henderson ridgeline, framing holes against the Strip skyline and the surrounding ranges and letting the desert do the visual work. The Concord is the gentler sibling — wider corridors, fewer forced carries, a round built for a good day rather than a survival test.

What Sets It Apart

Why Play The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course

The Revere gives Anthem two contrasting eighteens in one Henderson canyon setting, with elevated tees looking back across the valley toward the Strip -- a skyline view most Las Vegas courses cannot offer.

The Round

The Journey at The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course

I.

The Opening

The Lexington's front nine establishes the elevation story early, climbing into the Henderson ridge as the valley opens up behind you. Holes play across natural fall lines, and the desert framing is constant.

II.

The Middle

The middle stretch is where the Strip views arrive — several holes turn toward the skyline, and the elevation changes start dictating club selection more than raw yardage does.

III.

The Finish

The closing holes ride the ridge back down, with the downhill, view-framed tee shots the course is known for. The Concord, by contrast, finishes gently — built to send you off happy.

How to Play It

The Revere Golf Club — Lexington Course — Playing Strategy

Beginner / High Handicap

Play the Concord. Its wider fairways and generous landing areas make it the friendlier of the two, and the forgiveness keeps a higher handicap in the round.

Intermediate / Mid Handicap

The Lexington rewards club selection over power — with the elevation changes, a stock yardage is rarely the right number. Take the view-framed tee shots one at a time and respect the desert edges.

Advanced / Low Handicap

The Lexington is the real test: elevation, wind off the ridge, and greens that demand precise distance control. From the tips it holds up; treat the Concord as the warm-up or the relaxed second round.
