The Course

Overview

Wolf (par 72, 7,604 yards, 76.3 rating / 149 slope) is the longest and most difficult course in the Las Vegas area. Pete Dye filled it with desert waste areas, severe undulation, and a famous island green at the par-3 15th — a championship test in every sense.

History

Course history

Wolf opened in 2001 as the third and most ambitious Pete Dye course at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. Known by the Paiute name Kwetoo-Unuv, it is the longest golf course in Nevada.

Design

Design philosophy

Wolf is Pete Dye at full volume — waste bunkering, dramatic contouring, forced carries, and the island 15th, all stretched across the longest layout in the state.

The Round

Strategic layout

At 7,604 yards with a 149 slope, Wolf demands both length and precision; the island-green 15th is the signature, but the waste areas and undulations test every club in the bag.
