DragonRidge is a private country club set into the hillsides and canyons above the Las Vegas Valley. The 7,032-yard par-72 layout (72.9 rating / 143 slope) uses dramatic elevation change, desert terrain, and water features, supported by more than 60,000 square feet of practice facilities.
History
Course history
DragonRidge Country Club opened in 2000 within the luxury MacDonald Highlands community in Henderson, designed by Jay Morrish with David Druzisky. It has collected awards since 2001, including recognition among Golf Digest's top courses in Nevada and Best of Las Vegas honors as a top private club.
Design
Design philosophy
Morrish and Druzisky routed the course to use the natural hillsides and canyons — wide fairways and large greens set against severe elevation, letting the site's drama do the work.
