About Angel Park Golf Club — Mountain Course

Angel Park is one of Las Vegas's most complete public golf facilities — 36 holes of Arnold Palmer design plus a lighted par-3 course and an extensive practice park. The Mountain Course (the headline 18) plays 6,722 yards to a par 71, rated 71.6 with a slope of 132; the Palm Course is the more forgiving sibling at 6,432 yards, par 70. Both wind through elevated Summerlin terrain with mountain and valley views.

History

Angel Park Golf Club — Mountain Course — History

Angel Park Golf Club opened in 1989 as an Arnold Palmer-designed daily-fee facility in the Summerlin foothills on the west side of Las Vegas. Palmer, working with longtime design partner Ed Seay, built two full 18-hole courses — the Mountain and the Palm — alongside the Cloud Nine par-3 course, whose holes are modeled on famous one-shotters from around the world.

Design

Palmer and Seay routed the two courses to use the natural Summerlin elevation — generous landing areas off the tee, with the challenge concentrated around well-defended green complexes rather than brute length.

What Sets It Apart

Why Play Angel Park Golf Club — Mountain Course

Few Las Vegas facilities offer this much golf in one place — two Arnold Palmer 18s, a tribute par-3 course, and a full practice park — at accessible public pricing.

The Round

Angel Park Golf Club — Mountain Course — Strategic Layout

The Mountain Course is the sterner test of the two; the Palm rewards accuracy over distance. The Cloud Nine short course and the large practice park make Angel Park a popular warm-up and group-friendly destination.
