The Slammer & Squire is Bobby Weed's World Golf Village design, built with consultative input from legends Sam Snead ('Slammin' Sammy') and Gene Sarazen ('The Squire') — a 6,940-yard par-72 layout adjacent to the World Golf Hall of Fame that combines player-friendly routing with genuine respect for classic golf architecture. It opened two years before the King & Bear and remains the more accessible of the two WGV layouts, with the same public access at similar pricing.
