TPC Sawgrass is the most strategically demanding course in Florida — Pete Dye's 1980 masterwork that serves as the permanent home of THE PLAYERS Championship, the unofficial fifth major on the PGA Tour. The island-green 17th (a par 3 of 132 yards surrounded entirely by water) is the most photographed hole in professional golf and has produced the most dramatic Sunday finishes in Tour history.
