About The Oasis Golf Club — Canyons Course
The Canyons is the companion eighteen at The Oasis and, by the club's own account, the harder of the two. Par 71 over 6,549 yards, it is built from two distinctly different nines: the front plays much like the Palmer course, while the back -- original Arnold Palmer ground -- demands length and precision into narrow targets. It is shorter than the Palmer on the card and less forgiving in practice.

The Canyons was assembled after the Palmer course. Its back nine is original Arnold Palmer ground; the front nine opened in 2005, completing Mesquite's only 36-hole golf facility.
